Dutch delegation holds talks at MFA of Uzbekistan

On 23 December 2015, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by the director of the European Department of the Foreign Ministry Daphne Bergsma, the press service of the foreign policy body of Uzbekistan said.
On the eve, the Dutch delegation held talks in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan, during which they discussed state and prospects of development of inter-parliamentary relations, priority areas for enhanced cooperation in trade-economic and investment spheres, including through the involvement advanced technologies in Uzbek economy and the creation of joint high-tech industries.
In the first round of the Uzbek-Dutch political consultations at the Foreign Ministry the parties discussed substantially and thoroughly topical issues of the bilateral agenda with a focus on strengthening cooperation in various fields.
The sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
