Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia organized online negotiations between the leadership of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Agency for External Labor Migration (AELM), representatives of private employment agencies of our country and the President of the Malaysian Association of Employment Agencies (JAPS ) Jason Cheong, heads of private recruiting companies, Dunyo news agency reported.
Founded in 2018, JAPS is the largest Malaysian association for the employment of overseas migrants. The association includes 46-member companies operating in this area. The Association has established cooperation with similar organizations in South-East Asia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and other countries.
Within the framework of the event, the issues of establishing systematic work on the employment of citizens of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, including for large industrial enterprises, in a service company through appropriate selection and interviews, aimed at ensuring the level of readiness of Uzbek specialists for the proposed work and effective use available labor resource.
Malaysian agencies have expressed interest in establishing cooperation with AVTM and similar private agencies of the republic in this direction.
As a result of the event, agreements were reached on signing a memorandum of understanding between JAPS and AELM for the further development of practical cooperation;
The Malaysian side will also provide information on the criteria for selecting specialists for their employment in Malaysia and a list of available vacancies in the host country.
In turn, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan will send relevant proposals to the Malaysian side to study and determine specific areas of cooperation.
