Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 13 December, at 14:00, the Takhtikoracha pass of the M-39 highway passing through Kitab district of Kashkadarya region was temporarily closed to traffic. 

The main reason for this was the prolonged snowfall on the M-39 highway, which led to the formation of ice on the road surface.

At the moment, under the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, specialists from specialized organizations are working hard to eliminate the consequences of the current situation. 

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Takhtakorcha pass is currently opening.
