Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution “On measures to organize dual education in the vocational education system” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from the 2021/2022 academic year, dual education is being organized in the vocational education system.

Dual education is a type of training in which the theoretical part of the training takes place on the basis of an educational organization, and the practical part - at the workplace.

For the organization of dual education, khokimiyats and interested ministries identify the need for middle-level personnel and prepare a proposal.

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education annually, before July 1, determines the educational institutions in which the training of personnel will be carried out according to the dual system.

Selected educational institutions admit students in accordance with established quotas.

Educational institutions conclude contracts with organizations in need of personnel. The contract is also drawn up between the organization and the student. At the same time, a certain position is allocated for the student in the organization.

Pupils will be trained at least two days a week, and on the other days they will work.

The student will be charged for the days of his work.
