Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A draft Presidential Decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off to 2022" was announced.
According to the draft document, 3 and 4 January 2022 will be declared additional non-working days.
If the document is approved and entered into force, then the Uzbeks will have a rest for the following days:
- 31 December 2021 - Friday (additional non-working day);
- 1 January 2022 - Saturday (public holiday);
- 2 January 2022 - Sunday (day off according to the calendar);
- 3 January 2022 - Monday (additional non-working day);
- 4 January 2022 - Tuesday (additional non-working day).
In December 2021, the President signed a decree "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off in 2021."
According to the document, Friday (31 December) is set as an additional non-working day. In addition, 1 January (Saturday) 2022 is a public holiday, and 2 January (Sunday) is a public holiday.
