The drafts envisage elimination of restrictions on registration in obtaining passport, education, the right to work and others by the citizens.
Uzbekistan plans to abolish practices related to refusal to employ citizens, who do not have permanent or temporary residence permit.
There will be an abolition of the administrative punishment of the employer for non-compliance with the rules of the passport system in the process of labor relations.
Also, the administrative responsibility for minors will be abolished for missing the deadline for obtaining a passport.
The documents envisages measures to simplify procedure for temporary registration, as well as to abolish the requirements for concluding lease contracts and gratuitous use of habitations for persons involved in seasonal work (construction, agriculture and other spheres).
The term of stay of Uzbek citizens in Tashkent and the capital region without registration is proposed to increase from 5 to 10 days.
The period of registration at the place of stay is planned to increase from 10 days to 1 year (now - from 5 days to 6 months) without change of the permanent residence for citizens, who have come to study in educational institutions.
The requirements for purchase of real estate for citizens with a permanent residence permit in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region will also be simplified.
The Ministry of Justice said that restrictions on purchase of real estate from the secondary market will be abolished.
In order to develop domestic tourism, the terms of stay in temporary residence permit will be extended.
