On the TV channel "Russia 24" in the program "Vesti Nedeli" with Dmitry Kisilev there was a story dedicated to the celebration of the independence of Uzbekistan and the country’s achievements, with which it is entering a new era of the Third Renaissance.

In his report, Vesti correspondent Robert Frantsev noted that the 30th anniversary of independence is just an excuse to recall the entire historical path of the Uzbek people, the path of becoming a strong, democratic state looking into the future. The plot tells about how the new history of the country is being written through modern heroes. One of them is an athlete, winner of the Tokyo Olympics, who brought Uzbekistan a gold medal, Ulugbek Rashitov.

Special attention in the plot was paid to the grand opening of the New Uzbekistan Park, its symbolic monuments and architectural structures.
