Divorce annuls permanent residence in Tashkent

Corresponding changes were introduced to the law “On list of category of citizens of Uzbekistan, who can receive permanent residence in Tashkent city and Tashkent region”.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a law “On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan” on 25 April.

Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 30 March and Senate approved it on 31 March. The document came into force on 26 April.

The law “On list of category of citizens of Uzbekistan, who can receive permanent residence in Tashkent city and Tashkent region” was adopted in 2011. It includes list of 12 people, who can receive permanent residence in Tashkent city and Tashkent region.
