Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Distribution centers for coronavirus patients will resume work in Tashkent.

On 1 July, in the evening, the khokim of Tashkent, Jakhongir Artykkhodjaev, visited the "Yoshlik" sports and recreation complex of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan.

A distribution center for receiving and providing first aid to patients with suspected coronavirus has opened in the complex from 2 July 2021.

Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artykkhodjaev got acquainted with the conditions of the center. The center has more than 500 beds, including 60 beds in intensive care.

Artykkhodjaev noted that on 3 July, a distribution center will be opened on the basis of the "Universal" sports complex for 770 seats.

At the same time, the khokim instructed on 5 July to open a distribution center on the basis of the Uzexpocentre exhibition complex for 700 seats.

In total, a reserve of beds for almost 2 thousand patients will be formed in Tashkent.
