Director of Executive committee of SCO RATS hold talks at Uzbek MFA

On 9 February 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS of SCO) Yevgeniy Sysoyev.
The Minister congratulated Y.Sysoyev on the assumption of the position for three years according the decision of the Council of Heads of States of the Member States of the organization and stressed that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the activities of the RATS as a main body of the SCO on ensuring the cooperation of the Member States against terrorism, extremism and separatism.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged view on the preparation for the upcoming Tashkent Summit of the Heads of the SCO Member States and discussed the priority directions of the activity of the Executive Committee of the RATS in 2016 and perspective.
