Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Another young Uzbek judoka has reached the podium at the Junior World Judo Championship.

At the tournament held in Bulgaria, Dilshod Karimov secured a bronze medal in the under-60 kg weight category.

The Uzbek athlete advanced successfully to the semifinals but was unable to reach the final.

In the fight for third place, Karimov defeated his compatriot Muhammadkarim Nosirov, adding another medal to Uzbekistan’s junior judo team tally.
