Development partners learn about the World Bank

They were greeted by Mr. Motoo Konishi, Country Director for Central Asia. Institutional presentation is the on-going activity of the UN Communications team (UNCT). Similar presentations have already been done in several UN agencies.

EXT team of the World Bank country office in Uzbekistan maintains close relationship with development partners and is an active member of the UNCT. Together with other UN agencies, the EXT team participated in developing the joint communications framework and coordinates its activities with the colleagues.

The Bank’s communications team takes an active part in joint events like AIDS Day campaign, briefing for the government press services, UN workshop for the Academy of State Construction, MDG campaign and others. A lot of joint youth focused activities have been implemented since the joint communication framework has been introduced.
