Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 25 May, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov met with the Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Central Asia, Zsuzsanna Hargitai.

At the meeting, Zsuzsanna Hargitai highly appreciated the measures taken to develop the country's transport and logistics system, accelerate transformation processes in industry organizations, and expand the implementation of transport infrastructure projects based on PPP.

In turn, Deputy Minister of Transport A. Muminov emphasized that with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, our country is successfully implementing investment projects to develop the transport system.

Zsuzsanna Hargitai confirmed the intention of the EBRD to continue providing financial and advisory assistance to reforms in the transport sector of our country. Based on the results of the negotiations, the parties determined the tasks that will be implemented in the future within the framework of the discussed areas of cooperation.
