Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 August, Deputy Khokim of Tashkent for Tourism, Culture, Cultural Heritage and Mass Communications Fakhriddin Davrukov received a delegation from the Government of St. Petersburg led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg Nana Gvichia.
The meeting was dedicated to the preparation of the visit of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Dmitrievich Beglov to Tashkent, scheduled for October 2022. It is proposed to supplement the previously developed roadmap for the governor's visit with points on the development of tourism, in particular, on the creation of an International Center of Competence in the field of tourism in the system of continuing education. A meeting of the leadership of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg with representatives of the city Kengash of people's deputies was also added to the program of the visit.
In addition, a business forum is planned to be held jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the laying of a monument of gratitude to the Uzbeks for accepting the blockade during the Second World War and a concert of St. Petersburg art masters.
