Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Ambassador Oleg Malginov today, on 2 February, presented a badge "For contribution to international cooperation" to Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov.

The badge is awarded to citizens of Russia, foreign citizens and stateless persons for active joint work with the Russian Foreign Ministry on the development of bilateral cooperation, contribution to the popularization of the Russian language and culture, and other specific merits.

Presenting the badge, the Russian Ambassador highly appreciated the activities of Vladimir Norov as the SCO Secretary General in 2019-2021, as well as his efforts to develop Russian-Uzbek relations, Dunyo news agency reported.

Expressing gratitude to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Vladimir Norov noted that close partnership between the foreign ministries of the two countries would continue to make a significant contribution to the development and deepening of bilateral relations.
