Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the current legislation, the candidacies of members of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministers, before their appointment to the position, are considered by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Today, on 9 September, a regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was held.

In it, the deputies considered and approved the candidacy of Vladimir Norov for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Now the President of Uzbekistan must sign a decree on the appointment of Norov to the post of head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Vladimir Norov is currently acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
