Denis Istomin to play in US Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s top tennis player Denis Istomin will participate in the last Grand Slam tournament of 2010 – US Open. In the first round, world’s number 46, Denis Istomin, will face Maximo Gonzalez from Argentina. Gonzalez currently is world’s 195th player. If Istomin books place in the second round, he will play either world top player Rafael Nadal or Russian Teimuraz Gabashvili. Last year, Denis Istomin reached third round of US Open.
