Uzbekistan’s number one Denis Istomin could not reach to final of Kremlin Cup on Saturday, losing to Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus 6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (2).
The sides played 2 hours and 26 minutes. Baghdatis recorded 16 aces against 12 of Denis Istomin. Cypriot made 3 double faults, while Istomin recorded 4.
In his third final this season, the fourth-seeded Baghdatis will face unseeded Viktor Troicki of Serbia, who beat Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay 6-3, 6-3 and has yet to drop a set this week.
