Denis Istomin loses in third round of Cincinnati Masters

Denis Istomin could not qualify to third round of Western & Southern Financial Group Masters, which is taking place in Cincinnati.
In the first round, Denis Istomin outplayed James Blake of the USA – 6/2 and 6/0. He spent 45 minutes to win the match.
In the second round match, Istomin faced world number two Roger Federer of Switzerland.
At the score 5/2, Denis Istomin slipped and received ankle injury. After that Uzbekistan’s top tennis player had to retire.
