Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 17 to 22 May 2021, a regular meeting of working groups of government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan in the Joint Uzbek-Tajik Demarcation Commission took place in the city of Khuzhand of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed demarcation work on the line of the Uzbek-Tajik State Border, exchanged views on the project demarcation line and the establishment of border marks on the line of the Uzbek-Tajik State Border.

The parties agreed to continue field demarcation work on the Uzbek-Tajik State Border.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.

As a result of the event, a Protocol was signed.
