Delegations of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discuss ties

The delegations of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between two countries in various spheres of the economy.

It was noted that cooperation in such areas as fuel and energy complex, agriculture, chemical and metallurgical industry, use of water management facilities, tourism is of priority.

Presidents gave instructions to the heads of relevant ministries and departments to effectively implement the agreements reached at the talks of the Presidents in March 2017, their consistent implementation, support and encouragement of direct contacts between representatives of the business community.

The sides also discussed issues of further strengthening of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
