Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5-8 September 2021, a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev took part in the X anniversary St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF-2021), organized by ExpoForum-International.

The Russian St. Petersburg International Gas Forum has been held since 2011.

This forum is one of the most authoritative business events in the gas industry, which annually brings together leading representatives of the world community.

The forum is also included in the TOP-5 of the largest international congress and exhibition projects in the oil and gas industry.

This year, the forum, which is being held at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg, is dedicated to the development of the international gas market and global trends in the development of the gas industry.

Within the framework of the forum, a number of negotiations between the Delegation headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz with manufacturers of equipment and machinery for the gas industry PJSC Gazprom, JSC OMK, PJSC TMK and one of the largest gas distribution and supply organizations JSC "UEC".

At the meetings, the parties discussed the current state of implementation of joint projects and prospects for the development of cooperation.

The delegation visited a number of specialized exhibitions. In particular, they got acquainted with the International Exhibition “InGAS Stream - Innovations in the Gas Industry” and the Exhibition “Gas Engine Fuel”.

The participation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC at the 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum allowed expanding cooperation with foreign companies and presenting the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the international community.

It should be noted that 90 events in various formats will be held within the framework of the Forum, and in addition to mutual negotiations, the parties will reach specific agreements on solutions to various projects.
