Delegation of Uzbekistan Muslim Board visits Tatarstan

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin received the delegation of Uzbekistan on 16 June 2015, the press service of the Tatarstan Muslim Board said.

The delegation familiarized with the activities of the Tatarstan Muslim Board and discussed issues of further developing cooperation between two religious organizations.

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin briefed the guests on situation in Muslim community of the country and work on preserving religious traditions and works of Tatar theologians.

The Uzbek delegation handed over a welcome of Mufti of Uzbekistan to Kamil hazrat Samigullin and expressed gratitude for warm welcome.

The delegation said that it is important to establish cooperation between two organizations in various areas and invited the Mufti of Tatarstan to visit Uzbekistan to familiarize with religious traditions.
