Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1-9 December 2021, a delegation led by the chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov and chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs Sodik Toshbaev paid a working visit to Saudi Arabia to organize Umrah.

The delegation held talks with the Royal Institutions to organize the pilgrimage to Umrah under quarantine restrictions in force around the world.

According to the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, in the near future there will be an opportunity to make a sacred pilgrimage for those in line who paid for a trip to Umrah before the COVID pandemic and other citizens.

According to the quarantine rules, the distance between guests in hotels and seats on buses can be reduced by up to 50%, food can be distributed in packages, and compliance with other established quarantine procedures may require a small additional amount of money.

Information on the timing of Umrah, the amount of co-payment, vaccinations will be announced shortly.
