Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus visited Uzbekistan today as part of a practical visit. On the first day of the visit, representatives of the delegation visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A bilateral meeting was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Colonel Dmitry Korzyuk and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Azizbek Ikramov.

During the meeting, the deputy ministers of the two states talked about the regular exchange of experience in training personnel, improving their skills, expanding the spiritual and educational worldview. In addition, during the event, a wide exchange of views on ensuring road safety took place. During the bilateral meeting, issues of working with the public and the media were also considered.

As a result of the meeting, a number of opinions and proposals were expressed to increase international cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of the two states, long-term plans for the future were determined. After that, to get acquainted with the activities of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the delegation of the Republic of Belarus visited the Media Center.

During the visit, the Press Secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Shorukh Giyasov, gave the representatives of the delegation detailed information about the activities of the department for working with web resources, as well as various thematic programs, media products, social videos and creative works prepared on a special set of Media press center.

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus went to get acquainted with the activities of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent, the Academy of Internal Affairs and the Department for ensuring security at transport and tourism facilities.
