Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobojonov received a delegation led by Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Sheikh Imran Abdullah. 

The main purpose of the visit was to establish mutual cooperation and exchange of experience between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries.

At the meeting, the Maldivian side emphasized the ongoing reforms in the system of internal affairs bodies and expressed a desire to study the experience of Uzbekistan in the field of combating crime and ensuring public security.

The guests especially noted the system of work with criminals that exists in our country today, in particular, the process of interagency cooperation in adapting them to public life, providing them with psychological support and providing them with jobs.

The meeting of the parties was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
