Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 April, a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Oktyabr Urmambetov arrived on a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, an official meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Kyrgyz colleagues took place.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral interdepartmental cooperation, including intensifying the exchange of professional experience, improving the qualifications of personnel and other issues of mutual interest.

The guests from Kyrgyzstan were familiarized in detail with the process of ongoing reforms in the internal affairs bodies, the positive results of the introduction of information technologies into the activities of the system, as well as with the work to reduce and prevent crime.

In addition, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan plans to study the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the city of Tashkent and Samarkand region.
