Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 28 July to 2 August 2022, in Uzbekistan, under the leadership of the head of the Main Department for Combating Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Garayev, the Working Group under the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking of Azerbaijan is paying visit Uzbekistan.

On 29 July, a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the leadership and members of the subcommittee on combating human trafficking took place in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 

During the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of combating human trafficking, in particular, to protect victims of crime, increase the effectiveness of investigative actions and investigations between the relevant law enforcement agencies on crimes related to human trafficking, as well as exchange broader experience in this area and identify key areas for future cooperation.

Then the delegation visited the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Assistance and Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking and got acquainted with its activities.
