Delegation of Senate of Uzbekistan visits France

Jahon news agency reported that the visit was organized within the EU-funded project “Further Strengthening of the Bi-Cameral Parliamentary System and Communications between the Parliament and the Regional Assemblies in Uzbekistan”.

The visit was aimed at familiarizing with activities of the Senate and National Assembly of France, work of their committees, order of considering legal documents, exchanging experience and attention.

The delegation got acquainted with practice and mechanisms of control over execution of laws in places. The Uzbek delegation also held talks with Senators of France.

The sides exchanged opinion on developing inter-parliamentary relations, political dialogue, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.

The French side also received information on democratic and social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, construction of civil society and legal system.
