Delegation of Korean Foreign Ministry visits Uzbekistan

On 4 April 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, headed by the Director-General for European Affairs Park Chul-min.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of expanding cooperation in the context of implementation of bilateral agreements reached during the state visits of the President Park Geun-hye to Uzbekistan in 2014, and the President Islam Karimov to the Republic of Korea in 2015, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The parties also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts at high and other levels, meetings of joint cooperation institutions.
Meeting also covered some issues of collaboration within “The Republic of Korea - Central Asia” Forum.
