Delegation of India to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 March 2018, a group of religious figures led by the chief imam of the cathedral mosque in Delhi, one of the leaders of the Naqshbandi tariqat in India, Syed Ahmed Bukhari will arrive in Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The program includes visits to Islamic shrines, acquaintance with the historical and architectural sights of Uzbekistan, meetings with the leadership of the Committee on religious affairs, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the Center for Islamic Civilization, the Islamic Academy, Tashkent Islamic University.
