Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26-28 May 2022, an American delegation led by the United States Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West will visit Uzbekistan.

The US delegation will hold talks with officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including acting. Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov and Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev.

During the meetings, it is planned to exchange views on the current situation in Afghanistan, as well as issues of providing humanitarian assistance to this country.
