Defending animals discussed in Tashkent

Animals Protection Society Mehr va Oqibat held a meeting with the MPs of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and representatives of other ministries and departments in Tashkent on 15 November 2016.
Among the participants were officials of the ministries and departments, veterinary services, universities and NGOs.
During the meeting, the participants discussed fines for animal cruelty, adoption legal documents on protection of animals, as well as improvement the legal culture among the population, as well as organization of outreach programmes.
