Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Two people were seriously injured, one fatally, as a result of the powerful windstorm that struck Tashkent on 23 May. The incident was reported by the Milliy TV channel in its "Millar" program aired on 24 May.

According to Dr. Murod Kadirov, one of the victims was brought to the hospital in critical condition and died in the emergency department. The second patient was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury. Following an extensive surgical operation, his condition remains critically stable. He is currently in the intensive care unit, where treatment is ongoing.

The report also mentioned incidents involving fallen trees, which struck a Spark car and a bus. Earlier, Gazeta.uz published photos showing trees that had collapsed onto the roadway and damaged a Captiva vehicle.
