Days of Uzbekistan take place in Ukraine

Representatives of the Government of Ukraine, think-tank centers, business and public circles, diplomatic missions and international organizations, as well as mass media participated at the event.

The event provided opportunity to Ukraine citizens to receive information on modern Uzbekistan, its achievements in various areas, history, traditions, culture and heritage of the Uzbek people.

Days of Uzbekistan kicked off with the Uzbek-Ukrainian business forum, which was attended by the delegation of Samarkand region. The business circles of two states discussed issues of cooperation in various areas, including processing of agriculture products and production of construction materials and furniture.

After the business forum, the presentation of new model of automobile Chevrolet Gentra, produced at the GM Uzbekistan. The guests and citizens of the Ukrainian capital had chance to taste water melons, produced in Uzbekistan, with Qovun Sayli.

The delegation of Samarkand region visited Lvyv region and participated in the work of the Uzbek-Ukrainian seminar “Lvyv-Samarkand”.

At the end of the event, the Chambers of Commerce of Lvov region and Samarkand region signed a protocol of cooperation. The Association of businesswomen of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lvov region agreed to exchange the delegations.
