Day of workers of prosecutors’ bodies to be observed on 8 January

Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On establishing Day of workers of prosecutors’ bodies of Uzbekistan” on 13 December 2016.

Senators noted that the presidential decree “On prosecutors’ bodies of Uzbekistan” was adopted on 8 January 1992.

The prosecutors’ bodies conduct huge work on ensuring rule of law, protection rights and freedoms of citizens, interests of public and government, prevention of crime and violation of laws in Uzbekistan.

Establishing professional holiday of the workers of prosecutors’ body will serve to further improving efficiency of activities of the prosecutors’ bodies, stimulating execution of their duties.
