Davronova and Khukmova Secure Two Asian Championship Gold Medals for Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Asian Indoor Athletics Championships are continuing in Tianjin, China, where the Uzbekistan national team has added two gold medals to its tally.

In the women’s triple jump, Sharifa Davronova claimed the gold medal with an impressive leap of 14.05 meters, confidently finishing in first place.

In the women’s 400 meters, Jonbibiy Khukmova crossed the finish line first with a time of 53.61 seconds, also earning the title of Asian champion.

The strong performances by the Uzbek athletes have reinforced the national team’s position at the continental championships and highlighted the high level of preparation in Uzbekistan’s athletics program.
