Davron Hidoyatov meets with Deloitte and Touche delegation

Chairperson of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Privatization, Demonopolization and Development of Competition Davron Hidoyatov held talks with the head of audit practice in the Caspian region of Deloitte and Touche Andrew Weekes and director of Deloitte in Tashkent Erkin Ayupov.
The guests were informed about new privatization programme of Uzbekistan. It was noted that Uzbekistan is planning to sell state stakes in large enterprises to strategic foreign investors with attraction of international valuation companies to ensure attractiveness of objects and transparency of their valuation.
It was noted that International Investment Forum will be held in the second half of October to widely promote the privatization programme.
Weekes expressed interest in the event and noted that Deloitte and Touche has great experience in privatization processes, corporate management and other spheres, as well as wide clientele base. He said that the company also has experience in organization of such forums and participation in them.
