Murad Inoyatov, who replaced Denis Istomin, lost in straight sets to Hyun-Joon Kim – 5/7 and 1/6.

Vaja Uzakov met expectations of the team and grabbed the victory in the straight sets – 6/3 and 6/1.

Uzbekistan won the tie with the score 4-1 and kept its place in Group I.
