Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 October 2021 at about 15:00 at the intersection of Chinor and Polvonyor streets in Yangikhayot district, native of Tashkent region Abduvoris K., born in 2001, driving a Damas car (license plate 01 894 ЕНА), according to preliminary data, lost control, as a result of which he ran over minor pedestrians standing on the side of the road, and also collided with a Nexia car.

As a result of an accident, pedestrians - pupils of the 10th grade of the secondary school Gleb K., born in 2005, Sarmat M., born in 2005, and Temur Kh., born in 2006, were hospitalized with serious injuries. The drivers of both vehicles were also injured and hospitalized.

Another pedestrian - a 10th grade student Artyom E. born in 2004 as a result of a collision received injuries incompatible with life and, unfortunately, died on the way to a medical facility. 

On this fact, the investigation department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
