Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Kashkadarya region, the driver of a Damas car ran over a traffic police officer.
According to information from the Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, the incident occurred on 31 January on the third kilometer of the Kitab-Shahrisabz highway in Kitab district of Kashkadarya region.
At about 16:35, road patrol officer N. Musinov attempted to stop a Damas car to check the driver’s documents. The driver, without stopping, ran into the inspector.
The traffic police officer was pulled out from under the car by nearby men.
The inspector was hospitalized. According to the Kitab district medical association, he has hematomas and penetrating wounds on his head, face, arms and legs.
The Kitab district prosecutor’s office is conducting pre-investigation measures. The Prosecutor General’s Office said that information about the results will be provided later.
