Czech delegation visits Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Czech Republic led by the chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jan Hamáček visited Samarkand on 8 February.

According to UzA, the Czech delegation visited the tomb of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov in the complex Hazrat Khizr. Members of the delegation laid flowers to the grave of Islam Karimov and honored his memory.

During his visit to Samarkand, the delegation visited the Ulugbek observatory, a place of worship of Khodja Daniyar Mausoleum of Amir Temur.

Czech representatives also familiarized themselves the activities of the Uzbek-Czech joint venture Pulsar Group Brewery.
