Czech delegation holds talks at Legislative Chamber

Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismailov received the delegation of the Czech Republic.

During the meeting, Nurdinjon Ismailov said that the visit of such a high parliamentary delegation from the Czech Republic will serve as a strong impetus for further development of the Uzbek-Czech intergovernmental cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian and, of course, inter-parliamentary spheres.

It was noted that Jan Hamáček became the first chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, who visited Uzbekistan during the independence years of the Central Asian nation.

During the meeting, the guests familiarized with the activities of the Uzbek parliament, its structure and political system of Uzbekistan.

Jan Hamáček stressed the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary relations and maintain regular political dialogue, which are designed to create a solid base for the development of bilateral cooperation in all other areas.

He noted that the exchange of experience and bilateral visits will positively impact to further development of parliamentary relations between two states.
