Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the 10th session of the Uzbek-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, Akbar Sultanov, Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, held negotiations with representatives of Czech businesses and government institutions.

At a roundtable discussion with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, participants explored the prospects of exporting Uzbek leather products to the Czech market, as well as opportunities for establishing joint manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan.

Talks were also held with the Czech Export Bank, focusing on financial support for investment projects in Uzbekistan. Bank representatives praised the country’s ongoing economic reforms and expressed their willingness to contribute to their implementation through investments.
