Criminal Wanted Internationally Apprehended and Deported to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A criminal who had been hiding in Egypt has been deported to Uzbekistan and brought to justice, the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan reported.

The individual, wanted internationally for committing a serious crime, was detained through joint efforts between Uzbekistan’s National Central Bureau of Interpol and its counterpart in Cairo.

The fugitive’s location was established thanks to coordinated operational measures and international cooperation between the Interpol bureaus in Tashkent and Cairo.

The person was deported to Uzbekistan in accordance with international agreements and will now face legal responsibility for the committed crime.
