Criminal case on murder of Rakhmatilla Mirzaev sent to court

Prosecutor-General’s Office said that the preliminary investigation on criminal cases, opened in connection with murder of the anchor of National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan Rakhmatilla Mirzaev, conducted by the Prosecutor-General’s Office was completed.

Citizens K. Shoazizov and U. Mirzaev were charged in committing crime in line with corresponding articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. The case was handed over to the court for consideration.

It is worth to mention that Umid Mirzaev is a son of the murdered Rakhmatilla Mirzaev.

The anchor of National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan Rakhmatilla Mirzaev was found killed in his house in Zangiata district on 2 March.

The murder was uncovered in the result of undertaken measures by the law enforcement bodies of Tashkent region.
