Criminal Case Initiated After Explosion at CNG Station in Kashkadarya: Four People Killed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A criminal case has been initiated following the explosion and subsequent fire at a compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station in the Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region, which resulted in the deaths of four people.
The investigation is being conducted under Articles 205 and 259 of the Criminal Code, which pertain to abuse of official authority and violation of fire safety regulations.
According to the district hokimiyat's press service, financial assistance has been provided to all victims.
The families of the deceased have each received 100 million soums in compensation. Citizens who were injured and are currently undergoing treatment have received payouts of 50 million soums.
