Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 July 2022, a video conference was held between representatives of the Better Work international program, the International Labor Organization, the International Finance Corporation and the Confederation of Employers of Uzbekistan.

The international Better Work program is an integral part of the new Decent Work Country Program (DWCP) for Uzbekistan (2021-2025).

Better Work representatives informed about the completion of 2 feasibility study missions (1 in Samarkand and Tashkent, 2 in Kokand, Fergghana and Bukhara), and drew attention to the main goals such as increasing the number of working women, gender equality by workplace, labor safety, capacity-building, diversification and inclusion in the workplace.
