Court Fines Violator for Illegal Use of “AKFA BUILD” Trademark

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, the justice authorities upheld the rights of LLC “Texnopark” to its brand name and trademark “AKFA BUILD.”

The company, which manufactures elevator products under this brand under a licensing agreement, discovered that counterfeit products were circulating on the market, illegally using its brand name and trademark.

Following the company’s appeal, an inspection of the entrepreneur in Andijan confirmed the violation of LLC “Texnopark”’s rights.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator, identified as “S.M.” On 15 January 2026, the court ruled to impose a fine equivalent to 15 times the minimum base calculation value, totaling 6.1 million soums.
