Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 December 2021, citizen M.E. applied to the police department, who said that on 12 December an unknown woman entered his pharmacy located on the territory of the Yangi Dukon mahalla, bought medicines, paying 100,000 soums bill. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Fergana region.

According to the conclusion of the technical and forensic examination of court documents, it was established that the 100,000 soums banknote provided by M.E. was not produced at the enterprise, but using computer technology.

On this fact, the investigation department at the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashlak district initiated a criminal case under Art. 176, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the course of operational-search activities, it was established that the crime was committed by a woman named M.A., an investigation is underway.

The Department of Internal Affairs of Ferghana region notes that a person who has committed the above crime can be sentenced to imprisonment for up to five years.
